Farming is a juggling act of sorts, with so many daily tasks and priorities clamoring for attention. Some days the act goes smoothly, the “balls” moving past each other sure and steady as if by magic. But add another ball to the mix and you’ve got some recalibrating to do before you get your groove back. Today’s late newsletter is perfect evidence of the ripple effects of our new “ball” at Sweetland. Baby Ida is the easiest baby imaginable, and yet somehow our rhythm is just slightly off today! Luckily, the veggies are growing great in this glorious weather, so I’ll leave it at that and on to the harvest!
