Norah is unexpectedly away this week, so this is a short and sweet hello from the crew, who started at 6 am and were happy to finish up earlier than usual this afternoon, just as the sun started really bearing down. A hay delivery, lots of tractor and hand weeding, harvesting, and CSA prep were among the tasks on the agenda today. It was also Dale's Half Birthday celebration. With a birthday in December, he has never had a Sweetland cake since he's home in Jamaica, and that just didn't seem right, so we feted him when the work day was done with a big cake.
