This week at 1:11 AM on Saturday we welcomed the most exciting new addition of the season to the farm – Norah and Chris’s new daughter, Ida Aurora, arrived at 7lb 6oz! Norah and Ida are bonding fast, and Fern is adjusting to sharing mom’s time. And we are all adjusting to having two bosses (Fern has long been called “Small Boss”, that means that Ida is “Smaller Boss” or maybe even “Tiny Boss”).
As a consolation prize to Fern (and every other kid in the neighborhood!), a dump truck load of sand just arrived next to the Bonus PYO field, to be populated with diggers, shovels, and other means of youthful construction over the coming week. If you have any such implements in need of a new home, the sand pile beckons!
Also, we do ask for a bit of patience this week. The amazing Sweetland crew are all doing their best to pitch in and take over for all the many jobs Norah usually does this week. While we hope to cover everything so well you don’t notice, please be patient where there’s a bit of disruption.
