With full hearts and bellies after yesterday’s Thanksgiving meal, we woke up this morning to a snow squall reminder that winter is just around the corner. Today we are putting the disc harrow on for one more pass of the fields before the ground freezes, cleaning up supplies that we don’t want buried under heavier snows, and plugging away at carpentry projects during the shortened daylight hours. The forecast is calling for nights in the ‘teens next week, so it’s now or “never” for many of these chores. With that in mind, I’ll keep this email short and sweet, and throw together some warming and simple recipes for tonight’s meal.
Cheers,
Norah and the Sweetland Crew
